Sheep and goats are seasonal milkers. The milking season starts in April when the lambs and kids are born and ends in November when our ladies stop producing milk. The cycle continues again when we breed our animals over the winter. We milk European East Friesian and Lacaune dairy sheep, which are known for their high production and quality of milk. Our goat herd consists of a mix of breeds, including Alpine and Nubian. We rotate our ladies throughout our grass pastures during the milking season. You can meet our newborn lambs during our spring lamb tours!
