Autumn leaves Artisan Cheese and Food Festival

We got run over last year so back by popular demand and with limited admission to the first 1000 so please get your tickets in advance! MORE CHEESE MAKERS WITH MORE CHEESE! The
event will feature American Cheese Society award winning cheeses and specialty
foods (breads, chocolates, jams, honey, sauces, chefs, gelato and
more) from small farms and artisan food producers throughout the Northeast
region.
What Can You Expect? - preliminary list. 2008 list being finalized
Visitors to the farm will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of farmstead and artisanal cheeses and all natural handcrafted specialty foods. In 2007 we tasted and bought from Cato Corner Farm(CT), Beltane Farm(CT), Woodcock Farm(VT), Boucher Family Farm(VT), Shelburne farms (VT), Seal Cove Farm(ME), Silvery Moon Creamery(ME), Valley Shepherd creamery (NJ), Chaput Artisanal Cheese(QUE), Fromagerie Le Detour(QUE), Fromagerie Feodal(QUE), Bent Spoon gelato (NJ), J. Emanuel Chocolatier (NJ), BakeHouse Breads (NJ) and many others! Meet the cheesemakers, bakers, farmers and small batch artisan food producers while tasting their regionally distinct food creations. Taste what local Chefs can do with artisanal cheese and ricotta. This event will take place under tents, so bring the whole family, come rain or shine!
What Can the kids do?
Ride the horse drawn wagon, play with the baby cows, goats, sheep, alpaca and other cud chewing crittens, play on the big red tractor, Listen to traditional music, spend time in the projects area making a wooly sheep puppet...

Set on 120 beautiful acres, in the heart of rural New Jersey,
Valley Shepherd Creamery is within an hour of both New York City and Philadelphia.

It's Not All Play!
There will be educational opportunities throughout the day for the public, including structured cheese tastings, wine and cheese pairing tips, chefs cooking with artisan cheese, horse drawn hay rides, musical entertainment and other on-farm activities. This all amounts to great fun for the whole family!
What Will It Cost?
Admission to the festival is $15 per person purchased on-line, $5 for children 12 years and under, with children under 5 years of age are free! please pre-purchase online now-your tickets will be at the gate or arrive early. We will hold your tickets at the gate and not charge the $1 shipping fee when we peocess your credit card.
